Nice outdoor shopping center with TJMAXX, Home Goods, and Giant being the major stores

Nice shopping center. This is a nice suburban shopping center where the parking is right out front. In other words, it's not a pretend "towne center" with confusing and pricey on-street parking mixed with randomly placed giant, confusing and also expensive parking garages. I appreciate that. On the other hand, it tends to be a little crowded, but that just ensures good stores stay put. I haven't explored every single store, but the shopping center is large, attractive, and easy to walk.

As an infrequent visitor to Olney Village Center, I was pleasantly surprised by my experience during my recent trip. Nestled in the heart of Olney, This strip mall boasts a nice variety of stores anchored by familiar names like Giant, T.J. Maxx, and HomeGoods. Though I don’t come here often, it’s clear this center is an integral part of the community. The only (no pun intended) is the parking spots a bit tight. Upon arrival, I was struck by the mall's inviting atmosphere. The Giant grocery store has everything you need, from fresh produce to bakery items, making it a convenient stop. I was also impressed by the layout, which made navigating the parking lot and foot traffic easy. T.J. Maxx was a delightful surprise. Even as someone who doesn’t shop there regularly, I found a few interesting home goods and clothing at bargain prices. HomeGoods offered a lovely selection of home décor items that caught my eye. While I may not frequent Olney Village Center often, I found it to be a charming spot filled with potential for a successful shopping trip. It’s definitely worth a visit if you're in the area, whether you’re running errands or just looking for a leisurely stroll through shops.

What can I say most people have visited this place but as always kept very clean the parking lot is well lit and safe I let my kids off the leash and hang out there for a few hours day or night and they always stay out of trouble and really never mention any bad experiences and they will tell me when I ask so I definitely recommend visiting if you haven't already. There are many different restaurants and shops of all shapes and sizes to meet most needs.

Plenty of shops to choose from for daily and/or exceptional needs; along with a great selection of restaurants. Update as of April 2026: Shopping center remains a very pleasant and comforting area for light entertainment and food options. The previous 5-star rating remains.

Olney has so much to offer in a not so crowded atmosphere. We just moved in the area and we are so glad to be able to go to Olney and avoid Rockville Pike and that madness

I love shopping at Olney Village Center because the village is always so bright and cheerful great atmosphere.

Great place. Stay out of the sewers, there's deathclaws down there. Bring a dart thrower.
